Ambience

The ambiance of the restaurant was stylish, modern, and extremely vibrant. For the interiors of the restaurant, they had gone for a more eye-catching, premium-looking décor consisting of various colors, textures, and designs, to give the restaurant a unique and distinct style of its own.

Additionally, the restaurant had a few tables set up on a balcony located at the end of the main dining area too, for customers who preferred to dine in a more open setting.

The restaurant’s dining area was segregated into two floors, with both floors organized and decorated tastefully with the help of premium elements like vibrant, stylish wooden seating arrangements, various colorful wall art designs, an elaborate and elegant bar area, and lastly aesthetic lighting options, to give the entire dining area a very stylish and modern feel.

Even though I found the upkeep of the place to be quite satisfactory, it is definitely an area I felt where they can look to improve upon further, to ultimately give the customers the best experience possible.

Quality Of Food (Taste, Service & Presentation)

The service of the restaurant was quick and efficient. All the dishes that I had ordered were presented beautifully and prepared in good time.

The service staff was super courteous and warm towards me, especially Mr. Sandeep Sharma, who acted as a great host, and Mr. Devendra, who was my server for the day and was always on hand to answer any of my queries regarding the dishes and the restaurant.

Dishes Ordered

From their beverages menu, I ordered one of their best shakes on offer, the Dark Fantasy Shake.

For my main course, first I ordered one of their most popular and fast-moving dishes from their veg starters section, the Honey Chilli Potato, followed by one of their best varieties of non-veg starters, the Chicken Satay.

Dark Fantasy Shake

First up came one of their best varieties of shakes, the dark fantasy shake.

The shake was served full to the brim in a tall glass, garnished with a generous sprinkle of cocoa powder. A paper straw was provided with the shake as well, for the convenience of the customers.

Dark Fantasy Shake

The shake was thick, creamy, and frothy in texture and extremely chocolaty in taste. One could clearly see why the shake was named ‘Dark Fantasy’ after the first sip, as they had gone all-in with the chocolate flavors in the drink and had jam-packed the shake with a generous amount of dark chocolate, which not only helped in giving the shake its distinct brown color but also its intense chocolaty taste as well.

Since the shake was heavy on the flavor of chocolate, they had deliberately kept the level of sweetness in the shake on the minimal side to help the chocolate flavor stand out, and the extra garnish of cocoa powder only added to the overall chocolaty flavor of the drink.

Although I still found the shake to be quite sweet, customers who are used to having a sweeter variety of beverages may find it to be slightly bitter and even a little too heavy on the flavor of chocolate as well and might look to order a different drink altogether.

Honey Chilli Potato

Next up came one of their best and most popular varieties of veg starters, the honey chilli potato.

The honey chilli potato was served on a stylish and textured, black-colored rectangular plate, garnished with a generous amount of finely chopped spring onions and white sesame seeds.

Honey Chilli Potato

The dish was tangy, spicy, and slightly sweet in flavor and tasted absolutely delicious. Starting with the honey chilli sauce, it was glossy, thick, and sticky in consistency and was extremely flavorful. Lots of black pepper and chilli flakes were used to add more taste to the sauce, but even then, they managed to balance the flavors in the sauce very well, with its sweet, spicy, and tangy flavors being in complete harmony with one another.

Furthermore, a few fresh ingredients were mixed in with the sauce as well to give it some texture, like a generous amount of finely chopped garlic, some thin slices of onions, and green capsicum, which only added more flavor, freshness, and crunch to the overall taste of the dish.

Additionally, the finely chopped spring onions and the sprinkle of white sesame seeds which were used to garnish the dish not only made the dish look pretty but also added more freshness and crunch to the taste of the dish.

Coming to the French fries they had used; they were well-cooked, but still had a bite to them and were not mushy at all. Moreover, the fries had completely absorbed the delicious and robust flavors of the honey chilli sauce that they were tossed in, to give them a very appetizing taste.

A highly recommended dish from my side. Utterly delicious.

Chicken Satay

And lastly came one of their best varieties of non-veg starters, the chicken satay.

Two pieces of chicken satay were served on a designer black plate, and just like the previous dish, they were garnished with a generous amount of finely chopped spring onions. A dark barbeque sauce was provided in a small bowl with the chicken satay as well, which acted as an accompaniment to go with the dish.

Chicken Satay

Starting with the chicken satay itself, both the skewers were prepared more-or-less identical to each other and contained a selection of a few fresh and premium ingredients like some segments of yellow and red capsicum, along with some onions, and 3 adequately sized, boneless pieces of chicken. The skewers were also lightly brushed on top with the same dark barbeque sauce which was provided with the dish, to further enhance the overall taste of the satay.

The chicken pieces were super moist and melt-in-mouth soft, and although I found them to be slightly under-seasoned in taste, the dark barbeque sauce which they had brushed them with, compensated for that flaw wonderfully and gave the pieces a nice, barbequed flavor.

Moving on to the fresh vegetables, they too were juicy and crunchy in equal measure and tasted great. Furthermore, the vegetables were brushed with the same dark barbeque sauce as well, but this time around I didn’t find the sauce to have the same prominent effect on the taste of the vegetables as it did for the chicken pieces.

Regrettably, when I ordered this dish, I was informed that the restaurant was experiencing an unusual power blackout, and as a result, they were not able to grill the satay pieces very well, hence both the chicken pieces, as well as the vegetables hadn’t developed any of that delicious charred texture which is a must for any dish prepared on a grill, which was a pity, as it was definitely something I was looking forward to experiencing. Nonetheless, I still enjoyed the taste of the dish, but it could have easily been much, much tastier.

To Eat or Not?

To Eat, for sure!

With its excellent, artistic, and colorful décor, lively ambiance, courteous service, and good food, this restaurant is a good place to visit with your friends and family, if you’re looking to enjoy a wide range of delicious dishes from their elaborate, well-curated menu, but don’t mind paying a premium price for each of their dishes in the process as well.

Yes, they can definitely improve upon a couple of aspects like firstly, getting their kitchen to function better so that the taste of their dishes don’t suffer, secondly, adjusting the portion sizes of their dish according to their prices and also adding more flavor into their dishes to truly justify their price tags, and finally, improving the overall upkeep of the restaurant’s premises too, to give the place a better, more inviting vibe.

Overall, I found this restaurant to be in decent enough shape to be able to build on to bigger and better things for years to come, provided they work on improving a few important aspects which, in my opinion, are currently holding them back from truly shining.
